Last Days and Times is a fast-paced plot that pits believable characters against vast shadowy organizations and an ancient evil. Stephan Loy spins a thoughtful, believable tale of prophecy and end times. A fun read!
A riveting apocalyptic thriller impossible to put down that will keep you guessing until the very end. Shadowy mystery and white-knuckled action are weaved into larger questions about faith and humanity. Loy continues to impress.
Last Days and Times was an enjoyable and quick read. I'm a sucker for religious and Apocalyptic stories and this one delivered. I liked the progression of the story and seeing the characters grow and change as the story reached its conclusion.
A really good story that rolls right along and keeps you reading. Gets a little limp at the end and feels like the ending was chopped. But overall a healthy effort by Stephan Loy that doesn't disappoint.
Last days and Times delivers a harrowing story of two people, thrown together to fight a battle that will determine the outcome of all mankind. I cannot say enough good things about this book! The pacing, the plot line, the characters.... all top notch!! Get it now!!
An ancient struggle of good vs. evil is personified in warring factions of two evangelical T.V. preachers. One with a bold plan to bring on the Rapture and one dedicated to thwarting his plans. Along the way, 2 complete strangers are drawn into the conflict and must save the world from the impending Apocalypse.

Fantasy is not the type of book I would normally read, however, a friend told me about the author, who she knows personally, and sent me a link to his book. So glad she did. It is a very fast paced story that has believable characters and I could not put the book down. The story does get complex, however, I recommend that those intending to read this story go to Stephan's website for a summary of the characters and storyline. I read these after I finished the book but I think it would have cleared up my understanding of the characters dedication to saving the world and those they love. I will definitely be reading more of Stephan Loy books. I can't wait until part two of this story.
There are plenty of Apocalyptic thrillers out there. To tell the truth, I'm not a big fan of the thriller genre. When you add in some supernatural elements it piques my interest. When you say it's by Stephan Michael Loy, I'm there.
Stephan Loy is a craftsman. All of his stories are solid builds with engaging plots and a masterful use of the language. What make Last Days and Times truly unique is the warmth and depth given to the characters.
You truly feel for the character Sally Reiser, who wants nothing more than a good life for her mentally-handicapped son, Eulie. You identify with Gary Lamonte, a guy who's fought his way through plenty of disadvantages, never uses them as an excuse, but always remembers where he came from. Rose Vasquez's search for redemption lifts her above the cookie-cutter FBI characters you always see.
Add some Nazi villains, because Nazis are always the best villains, and the threat of nuclear annihilation, and you have a great read.
I'm not kidding. Stephan Loy is walking amongst giants here - Stephen King, James Patterson, John Grisham, he's that kind of storyteller. For 99 cents, you owe it to yourself to give this a try.
