This book had be on the edge of my seat from the first page. I love the whole Jade/Garret series, and I had been waiting for a while for this book to come out. I finished way too quickly, and now I need more!!!! I really liked reading the first books, of Jade and Garret trying to figure out their relationship and all, but this new book... really adds a new perspective to it. I really enjoyed reading the issues that they were having with their new married life. I feel like they have some of the issues that alot of people have on a daily basis... but then they have some issues that are way more in depth than we could ever thing of having. The book ended on a cliff hanger, and it kills me to have to wait so long for another book!!! I think one of the things I liked the most about it was the multiple points of view. I loved Jade's point of view in the first books, but when I read Garret... I felt like it added depth to the entire story. So, having this book in both points of view, was excellent. I cannot wait for the next book!!!! Im hoping it will come out sooner rather than later. I think it after this series is over, I would really love to see a spin off of this book that is from Harper/Sean's story. Also, I feel like it would be awesome to get the story from Pearces' point of view as well. Allie Everhart is an amazing writer. She makes you feel like you are actually in the story, and living it right along with the characters. She is extremely talented, and I feel like I would read anything that she wrote!Product details

This series is one of my favorites. If it's not for Jade's sarcastic witty tone and Garret's chivalrous ways. I would think these two were complete opposites instead they are a puzzle. The slowly piece each other together everytime the other one is having issues. Their love story will never get easy. Jade is poor in the organizations eyes and she will never be Garret's equal not while they have a say so. Yet, everyone around them knows that these two belong together but this frustrating stupid organization. I love that they want to beat the odds but I also know Jade is just as scared as he is. They know that their love will either make or destroy them and not by their own doing. I want this organization to be over with so that they could move on to their happily ever after, and forget those terrible people. Book 7, where are you? I need you to tell me that he found Jade? That she finally can live? Maybe something happened to Garret's grandfather because I know that old fart had something to do with this. Maybe Garret's dad but his ass on the line for them? Katherine has been removed from the picture? Please book 7, hurry up and come out.
Hmmm. Where to start?
So first, all I have to say is WOWT! I've followed this series since book number one. In the series, there will be a total of seven books with this being the SEVENTH. So I'll admit it, I have some re-reading to do but I'll GLADLY do it because this series is 'DA BOMB DIGGITY FRESH!

Okay, enough of that and on to the review! ♥
The theme of this book for me was that although we have problems in life, those problems can't continue to rule our lives. There is a time to just LET THINGS GO.
Jade is still suffering with her problems from her childhood and it really gets in between her relationship with Garrett in this installment which drove me crazy. I so wanted her to get over her past and learn to live her life with Garrett.
But... She just wouldn't.

The book takes place a month later after they get married, they are now finally moving into their new apartment to start their lives together. I couldn’t help but smile when they went into old habits and just immediately started at each other like wild animals. I missed these two characters and was instantly reattached to them just like I was before.
New beginnings, same old problems.
Jade and Garrett are comfortable in their lives on their own as newlyweds but that happiness comes to a quick and shattering halt when their neighbor's house gets robbed. Then afterwards, mysterious things begin to happen one right after the other.
Will Garrett and Jade figure out who is behind these mysterious crimes? And in the end, will it make them stronger or only tear them apart?

I have read this series from the beginning and now Jade and Garret are so a part of my thoughts that they feel almost real. After book four when they left Connecticut to go spend the summer on the beach in California with Harper and Sean I thought that was the end and was disappointed because I wanted more. Well now I NEED more! Who is this Walt jerk? Does he work for Carter's grandfather? Are all these happenings, the so called burglary, the "burglar" driving up and down their street, that same car being parked in an area where there is no access via a road, where Jade also happens to be...the guy going thru the exit unknown to others just when Jade appears...the meeting and shooting as Jade watches...what is wrong with Garret? With Daddy? How can all these events NOT be connected? Is Pearce aware and just hiding it from Garret? Does he know more than he's letting on? I'm going to be on pins and needles until the next book comes out. I said I would not begin another series until the series is complete. I hate waiting for next installment. Will we read more about Harper and Sean? How does her father fit in all this? What is be up to and why does he really dislike Sean so much?
